Florida May 2009

We played the Plaza Theatre in Orlando on Friday night. I think it was the first public appearance for the the band ever. Lots off fans in central FL! It was a nice venue, though the promoter made some errors on the payment check, but this was corrected by Saturday afternoon.

On Saturday we played fir WNMF at Ybor City in Tampa. There were lots of people there, despite the rain. We were fortunate to play in a lull.

Today we're returning home. The next band show is on Jund 13 in New Orleans.

Rhodes on the Pawtuxet Mardi Gras show, Cranston, RI, 2/10/18

We’ve played the Rhodes on the Pawtuxet Mardi Gras show many times. It’s put on by Church Wentworth, who also produces the Ninigret Park Labor Day Festival. It was the 26th year of the Mardi Gras show, and the place was rocking! We played a rousing dance set, and we were followed by Nathan and the Zydeco Cha Chas, old friends and great musicians.

Sellersville Theatre, 2/8/28

It was great returning to Sellersville Theatre! I cannot say how many times we have played there, but I can say that the audience is always great. Not too many danced, so we played more listening type songs, getting used to our new accordion player, Chad Huval. As always, we had dinner next door at the Washington Hotel.  It’s always a good experience there, too: great food and great staff. Playing the Sellersville Theatre was a good start to this short Mardi Gras 2018 tour.
