The Art Center, Carrboro, NC

It was another trip to the Art Center in Carrboro. It's always been a
good venue for the group, and this time was no different. Lots of
tickets were sold and I think the show was close to a sell out.

Instead of playing two sets, which would have increased our
merchandise sales, we opted for one long set, one very long set, 2
hours worth. Sometimes I think making decisions like playing a long
set isn't always a good idea. It's hard to perform that long, but I
do know that it's sets like that which go into the record books.

I don't think anyone had a bad time. I do think we wore out the
audience, however.

The Kate, Old Saybrook, CT, 2/11/18

We played the Kate on a very wet Sunday night. It was our third appearance there and as always, the audience was great and so were the staff.   We played a fairly well-rounded set list, mainly to listeners, as there isn’t much room at the Kate to dance.  It was a good show, and afterwards we sold and signed CDs.  It’s always great to see our fans. I hope it’s not 4 more years until we play there again!

FitzGerald’s American Music Festival, Berwyn, IL

Date: July 2, 2009 11:59 AM Topic: FitzGerald's American Music Festival, Berwyn, IL It's amazing how Fitzgerald can alter his club to accommodate an event with so much entertainment and yet keep the Fitzgerald's feel. The groups that played were amazing, from Bill Kirchen to Marcia Ball, and of course BeauSoleil. Since we had flown in on the day of the first show, July 1, we were a bit tired but played very well inside the club stage. On Thursday, after getting rest, we played the outdoor stage and really kicked it up. Points to note for this trip, and more specifically O'Hare airport: Continental has moved its gates to the United Terminal, in anticipation of the Star Alliance merger later this year. No more Northwest and Delta!

2023 and BeauSoleil

We all made it through COVID, thank God.  We are all looking forward to a new year with great adventures.  We do have two upcoming shows in December: in New Orleans on 12/8, at the Lafitte Greenway and at the Hideaway Dance Hall on 12/11.
